Membership Freeze

What is a membership freeze?

A membership freeze is a temporary hold. This service provides an opportunity to maintain membership at a reduced price for one to three months. The freeze option is designed for members who intend on returning, but will be unable to use their membership for a period of time.  As a result, members are able to avoid repaying enrollment fees upon resuming center use. The membership freeze period must start on the first day of the month and end on the last day of the month. The temporary membership freeze may only be used once per calendar year.

Who is eligible to freeze their memberships?

All active members are eligible to freeze their membership.

Am I allowed to use the Fitness Center during a freeze?

During the freeze period it is not permitted for the frozen member to use the Fitness Center. Once reactivated, the member can resume regular use. If you sponsor a spouse or dependent, you have the option to freeze their membership along with yours or they may remain active during that time period and you will be billed accordingly.

By submitting your freeze form, you acknowledge your membership will automatically reactivate at the end of the freeze period and normal dues will resume at that time. You also acknowledge any prepaid dues occurring within a freeze period will not be refunded.

How do I freeze my membership?

When requesting a membership freeze, a minimum of 5 business days is required prior to the start of the “freeze month(s)”.
